The M4225 Integrated Wireless Communication Equipment for Locomotives (referred to as CIR) supports multiple communication modes, including LTE, GSM-R, 450MHz, 800MHz, and 400MHz digital systems. It provides wireless voice and broadband data transmission channels between locomotives and ground systems. In addition to meeting the requirements of wireless train dispatch services, the M4225 CIR also serves as a hardware platform for other systems requiring LTE wireless broadband transmission channels, such as LTE proximity warning systems.
Under LTE networks, the M4225 CIR enables a variety of functionalities, including dispatch video calls, dispatch voice calls, transmission of dispatch commands and train number information, train tail operation and display, and broadband data transmission between trains and ground systems. It is suitable for application in China's railway passenger-dedicated lines and high-speed railway train wireless communication systems.
